Testimony Tuesday

My prayer with my family this morning was to exemplify the grace of God in our walk.

So while I was pulling in to work, I had a whole unit on my face. Did not want to go in, did not want to be there. I heard the Spirit say to me, “Do not despise the gifts of God”. Listen, that message snatched me in my place so quick. My job is absolutely a blessing to my family, and I definitely do thank God for it. In some moments, on some days, it can be so easy to put gratefulness on the back burner. Glory be unto God who reminds us of who He is, and how He has blessed us.

As the day went on, a couple of situations happened that really caused me to battle within. A battle of remembering my morning prayer and wanting to walk in that. To be honest, I just wanted to snap at some people today hunny. But glory be unto the Spirit that keeps us in our place and walking in the righteousness of God. He reminded me to extend the same grace that He gives me daily. No matter what I feel or how upset people make me.

On days like this though, I am sometimes so hard on myself. I recognize the fact that Holy Spirit keeps me, but I get frustrated that its not easier for me to not even get to a place where I am bothered by the things going on around me. Although the Spirit always keeps me and relieves my mind, the fact that it happens, even if only for a second, is something I desire even more growth on.

Once I got home, I heard in Spirit…

‘I know that you are not perfect. I did not create you to be, but my grace is sufficient enough to cover your imperfections.’ 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

God will not only tell you what to do, or teach you how to live, but He will make you an example. We are all imperfect people, striving to be made perfect in Christ. Some of our journeys are a little more bumpier than others. As Christ shows us grace and mercy time after time, remember that those around you need to be shown the same. I pray that this word encourages and blesses someone on today! Amen!

23 “Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. 24 As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand bags of gold[h] was brought to him. 25 Since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the debt.

26 “At this the servant fell on his knees before him. ‘Be patient with me,’ he begged, ‘and I will pay back everything.’ 27 The servant’s master took pity on him, canceled the debt and let him go.

28 “But when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred silver coins.[i] He grabbed him and began to choke him. ‘Pay back what you owe me!’ he demanded.

29 “His fellow servant fell to his knees and begged him, ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay it back.’

30 “But he refused. Instead, he went off and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay the debt. 31 When the other servants saw what had happened, they were outraged and went and told their master everything that had happened.

32 “Then the master called the servant in. ‘You wicked servant,’ he said, ‘I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. 33 Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?’ 34 In anger his master handed him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.

35 “This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart.” Matthew 18:23-35

Praise be to Jesus!! The Holy Ghost will keep us when we want to be kept. When we submit, listen and obey… He makes all things well. I ♥️ this reminder.
